- Is the trainer really free?
- The spots on this page are free with no account at all. The app's free plan adds 25 graded drill hands a day, preflop and postflop, with EV feedback on every decision, and never asks for a card.
- Where do the spots come from?
- From the same solver-solved charts published on this site: push/fold ranges from 8 to 20 big blinds, tournament opening ranges at 15 and 20 big blinds, and 6-max cash opening ranges. Each spot links to its chart.
- What does "the solver does this 62%" mean?
- Many hands are mixed: the solver takes one action some of the time and another the rest. When your answer is an action the solver takes at a meaningful frequency, it is not wrong, it is part of the strategy. The grade shows the whole mix so you can see how close a hand is to the line.
- Do the spots change?
- Every day. The page deals a new set of eight each morning, drawn to prefer hands the solver mixes, because those are the ones worth thinking about.
- What does the app add?
