How to play 100bb from the Small Blind
This is a first-in spot: everyone folds to you in the Small Blind in a 6-max cash game, 100bb deep. The solver opens about 44% of hands here. The tighter the position, the fewer hands clear the bar to commit your stack — every hand you jam has to show a profit against the calling ranges left to act behind you.
At 100bb the whole range plays as raise-or-fold — hands like AA, KK, QQ, AKs open every time. With deep stacks there's no reason to jam or limp first-in: a standard raise builds the pot with your strong hands and takes down the blinds with the rest, while keeping you in position to play postflop.
Each cell is either open (teal) or fold (dark); a partly-filled square is a hand the solver opens only some of the time — a mixed frequency. Those borderline hands at the edge of the range are where opening ranges are most often misplayed, so they're the ones worth drilling.
